DESCRIPTION:

Rural schools play a crucial role in the vitality of their communities. Support from the community, in turn, is essential to district success. Partners and advocates, though, can grow weary, and trust and support can break down if the community only hears from its district when it’s time to ask for referendum support.

Join this session to learn how to communicate consistently and impactfully on a small-school budget. You’ll walk away with communication must-haves, tools you can leverage, and an understanding of how you can build your strategic communications plan over time to form strong community connections.
