DESCRIPTION:

School districts across the country are facing challenges in attracting and retaining qualified staff, especially in high-demand positions. CESA 5 in Portage, Wisconsin, has developed a data-driven approach to compensation that helps districts create salary bands for these positions that are competitive and equitable.

In this session, participants will learn how CESA 5 uses publicly available data to:

  • Identify high-demand positions

  • Analyze salary trends

  • Create salary bands that are competitive and equitable

Participants will also have the opportunity to discuss their own compensation challenges and learn
from the experiences of other districts.
